What’s inside the course:

-
This module is all about orienting yourself to where you are and how you got here. Oftentimes we treat pregnancy like the endurance race and delivery as the finish line, when in fact, the delivery is the beginning of the next endurance race: postpartum. Pregnancy, Birth, and Postpartum are all major events in a woman’s life that can greatly impact her mental health and ability to cope with the next event. In this module you will unpack your birth story, learn how that story can impact your postpartum journey, and understand why postpartum can be so challenging for your mental health.
-
In the previous module we established just how hard the postpartum season can be, but hard does not have to mean bad, and there are ways to cope through the changes you are experiencing so that you can feel like yourself again. In this module we will cover very practical coping strategies and tools that you can implement immediately to experience relief and start to enjoy life again.
-
So much of our experience is impacted by how we think about what we are experiencing. This module dives deep into your thought life, helping you to identify the facts and turn down the volume on feelings that may not be grounded in reality.

Postpartum can throw a lot of change your way in a short amount of time: navigating less sleep, less help, feeling disconnected from your husband or even disconnected from God. Rather than bracing ourselves and waiting for things to “go back to normal” part of this work is embracing a new normal and discovering what is going to work for you in this season. In this module we will cover the common changes known as “new waves” that most women experience as well as “new rhythms” for adapting to those changes so that you can leave survival mode and enjoy your life with your newborn.
-
Isolation is a common place women find themselves in when they are postpartum. Isolation can intensify feelings of loneliness, depression, and overwhelm. The good news is you do not have to stay here! In this module we will discuss practical ways to get you engaged with your community and connected to support, so that you feel less alone and more joyful as you navigate caring for yourself and your newest little one.
